Automobiles in German Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Authorities stated they were alerted by a man who discovered a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Around 50 automobiles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, according to police.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a release.

Police say they were contacted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a man noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued fluid.

The liquid had been drawn in the form of a swastika, they reported.

Officers then found numerous other marked automobiles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement say initial examinations show the liquid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to its source; officials are presently not cognizant of any injuries in relation with the occurrence," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were working "to resolve the incident" and have requested to the community for information.

A high-ranking representative said the attack rendered him stunned and needed to be solved rapidly.

"This event hits the center of Hanau and revives the wounds of the extremist violent incident half a decade ago," he posted on social media, recalling the death of nine people by a assailant targeting individuals of foreign heritage in 2020.
